The hostorical buidlding was in 1909 to plans by the architect Peter Klotzbach. Peter Klotzbach is considered a representative of the "Heimatschutzstil" and also designed numerous school and administration buildings as well as several monuments. 

Villa Muehlstroh was listed as a historical building in 2005.
